I had this idea for an NPC I'll play. Thought he'd make a good lieutenant of Calin or Doru (Kev's returning for the summer):
Vitor Ferenczy - a hugely built Frank also of Saracen or Byzantine blood. Dark of skin like a Saracen, but with the brutish build of his Germanic forebears. Vitor served in Otto I’s armies during his reign, but fell in with mercenaries after Otto was overthrown, serving many different landowners and merchants.
Vitor keeps his curly dark hair cropped short and his face clean-shaven, though he often sports much stubble, as he often doesn’t have the time to properly groom himself on campaign. Vitor wears piecemeal armor and uses his great strength to his advantage, wading into battle with an enormous maul, flailing it about with abandon, caring little if it strikes ally or foe. He also keeps a gladius at his hip for more close combat.
Lemme know what ya think and if ya have any ideas. We need to figure out what to do with the new players also, though Mel already has her character figured out.

I think the ideal sounds good. If you have time do you think you could post the current characters and any that are proposed. I just think that might help everyone.

Calin - one of Waldemar Ferenczy's favored twin sons, a powerful telepath, masquerades as a priest
Doru - the other twin, has the power of the Evil Eye, Chief of the Rus
Malric - Waldemar's eldest son, large and pale, of Nordic blood, somewhat of an outcast amongst his family, has the power of domination
Rialn - scholar of Byzantium and Watcher, travels as a hostage/advisor to the Ferenczy brothers
I won't reveal a lot about Mel's character except to say that she's very much tied in with the plot I have in mind for this campaign, she's a beguiler, and that she'll need to be somewhat of a "love interest" (a foreign concept to Wamphyri) of one of the brothers for this to work. One of you guys has to get his ass voluntarily beguiled (the player, not the character).

If one of us needs to get his tater beguiled, I nominate Calin. He seems to be the most rational and sympathetic, if you will, at least for a Wamphyri, and I know that's partly because he's a conniver and a thinker, but that's what will put him in a compromising position. Maulric would just as soon screw her and then eat her, I would imagine.
UNLESS she might be of Nordic blood and she plays her sort of domineering and a bit cruel and bloodthirsty. Maulric might actually become sort of like a wild pet kept in a very fragile cage, just as willing to bite the hand that feeds it (or handjobs it) than not, but a bit tolerant just the same.

An aside referring to B's signature: I still need to see that movie. Is it called Bubba Hotep?

I think that she is of Greek blood, and I don't know how she would play her, but she is Wamphyri, and you know how Mel plays her evil-ass characters. I thought it might be a switch to have her connected to one of the other brothers since she and E's characters are lovers in the drow campaign and they might essentially end up in the same roles, but that might work to their advantage because of that. Basically it comes down to comfortability and whatever makes since for the characters - though being beguiled pretty much erases a person's desire to do harm to the beguiler, so Maulric could work if you're down for it.

I am more than willing to be Mel's bitch again. That is if it fits into the story. If Malric would make a more compelling plot then that’s cool too.

I would really like to follow the egg son story with Rialn obtaining an egg from one of the Lupine breed.

I'd like to get some ideas from you guys as far as historically and physically where your characters might like to go, things they might like to see, things they might like to get involved in - such as wars and the like. I'd rather do that than just say, "OK, 10 years have past, the year is 1009, you guys are in England doing such-and-such." www.historychannel.com/ has a cool timeline on the left where you can go century by century if you need any ideas.

What span of time are we fast forwarding? How long and from when to when? Are the brothers going to stay together during this time?

What span of time are we fast forwarding? How long and from when to when? Are the brothers going to stay together during this time? That is what I am trying to discern. I'm leaving it all up to you guys. If Kev is still around whenever we get back to this campaign, then obviously Doru will be present. Basically, I'm looking for ideas from you guys to frame this campaign. For instance, suppose someone says that they think it would be cool to take part in the Battle of Hastings, 1066 AD. I'd ask what side do you think the Brothers Ferenczy would be on? Have they been in the British Isles long? Were they there for the invasion of Harold Hadraga just weeks earlier? If so, what did they do there? We could build some cool storylines off all this info.

It is most likely what I'll run after SW, depending on what the remaining members of the group have to say. It will be interesting to see what players we will have at that point.

Since we have decided that this is what we'll play next, I've been brainstorming a bit. Here's another NPC I came up with, he (once again) would make a good lieutenant for someone or maybe a rival for you guys: Chael is a large, broad-chested Saxon with night-black hair and mustache. He is descended from a long line of servants of the Carolingian kings and he himself served Otto (I, II, or III - not sure yet). Chael wears a heavy chain hauberk and carries a large hand-and-a-half sword into battle. Chael is a savage warrior in battle like his Saxon brothers, but also possesses a calm confidence that many find unnerving. I modeled this guy after Dan Severn (the Saxon bit I stole from The Dude), a pic is below if you don't know who he is:
