Just to get the juices flowin, here's what I had in mind:
We do the fast forward thing like we did with Waterdeep to get any issues over with the missing characters.
1) The Foehammer bros go back to Mithral Hall.
2) Shundane (Keeve's wife and fellow monk of Ilmater) leaves after somehow being corrupted in the short amount of time she spent alone with the drow, Nez Nasadra. I haven't worked out the details completely yet with this one, maybe some sort of item he had hidden that allowed him to do this. It's possible considering he's from the ruling house of Ched Nesad.
3) Kuhol - we need to get him on that cool core class from the Minis Handbook, if you wanna do that Joe. I'm not adverse to kinda redesigning his character via his classes if we can explain it in the context of the story. Shouldn't be hard considering his origins. He may also easily qualify for that Windwalker of Shaundukul PrC from Faiths and Avatars if we do it right.
4) Keeve - keep him blind and see where it goes, no pun intended. Get him into that cool monk PrC that gives him blindsight.
I should come up with a cool NPC too.
This campaign may be good to come back to when Tone is doing all his wedding arrangements/honeymoon. Then he can roll up a guy and join in when he's done if he wants.

I'm all about redesigning Kuhal some. If I recall correctly, he's spread thin in a lot of different areas, so streamlining him for that class in the Minis Handbook sounds like a really good idear! He can always have a moment of divine clarity that transforms him to Shaundakul's design.
Oh yeah, and I made Kuhal's name from Shaundakul's, his full name being Kuhal Dusan. No "o" in it. I noticed you were spelling it like that so just thought I'd point it out.
Also, I like the other ideas: Shundane's fall, Keeve's blindsight, and the Foehammers in Mithril Hall. It's just all too cool, and I'm more eager to return to this campiagn and the waterdeep campaign than I am the Dalelands right now. I am sure I can come up with something cool for Hawk, but these two campaigns have more history.

Cool. Now all I have to do is find the Minis Handbook cheap enough on eBay and we'll be good to go!

What about my character? He is a grizzled veteran of the soda wars where he once drank an entire batallion of cherry flavored soda soldiers. He would be 7'5 and weigh 110 pounds with 2 glass eyes and a mohawk. His name would be Josef Blackhawk, second in line to the throne of Shasta.

Have you made any headway finding that Minis Handbook on ebay? Currently, I am shopping ebay for a FRCS book. That sucker's too high-priced to fork over retail dollars, IMO.

Well, I'm currently the high bidder on one, but I prolly won't win it.
I'm not willing to go over $20, including shipping, on this book or any of the others I'm looking at (Spycraft, Comp. Warrior, Oriental Advs.)

I just had a cool idea:
What if Kuhal knew some of Mystra's Chosen in his previous incarnation around the time of Myth Drannor's fall?
I was thinking this could lead to a cool relationship with Alustriel, ruler of the Silver Marches.
The direction I was thinking of for this campaign is to have the PCs be Champions for the Marches, vanquishing whatever threats to the new realm spring up.
But, as we saw with the Dalelands campaign, there need to be more than that to keep it interesting ...

He can always have a moment of divine clarity that transforms him to Shaundakul's design I just thought of something else. I'm trying to get the 3.5 PHB on ebay (once again not going over $20 including s/h) and you may wanna give Kuhal some ranger levels. Supposedly, the 3.5 ranger kicks ass and you may want Kuhal to keep some of the combat skills he currently has that may be lacking in the favored soul class. B
