In an effort to come in line with 3.5, I'm gonna let you guys redo your characters.
The good news is that you can now go back and change decisions you don't like anymore and qualify quicker for that prestige class you been eyeballing
Bad news is, I'm removing the "bonus feat" I gave everyone in an attempt to be more in line with the rules. For most, this won't be a prob.
Fenlan for example will be OK cuz the Ambidexterity feat no longer exists, and the "bonus feat" will just take that slot.
Before any biotching occurs, just remember that I don't really even heed the equipment rules, but still pay attention to Challenge Ratings.
We'll have to do this for our other D&D campaigns too someday.

That's cool with me. The example you put is a good picutre of how little effect that will really have.

I'm down. This will give us a chance to refocus our characters. Joe, are you still intrested in the printing of 3.5 core rules. I will give you some cash to help with the printing cost.

I think I found a 3.5 change that will have some bearing on me taking school specialization. Didn't that use to be one prohibited school?
"The wizard must choose whether to specialize and, if she does so, choose her specialty at 1st level. At this time, she must also give up two other schools of magic (unless she chooses to specialize in divination; see below), which become her prohibited schools."

I can look into it, although I may just follow Brett's lead and break down and buy a 3.5e PHB. If you want, I'll split one with you and we can share it. cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3184609142&category=44112

We should start a fund to support our group like we had before. I just shelled out $33 for the Player's Guide to Faerun, pretty hefty.
If we all threw in $5 whenever one of us gets a core book for one of our active campaigns, we'd be golden.

Been trying to get the Complete Warrior D&D book on eBay cheap. Found this in a review on the book and thought Tone might find the new Swashbuckler core class enticing:
"Instead of bonus feats every other level, the Swashbuckler has class features such as Grace and Acrobatic Charge. It does provide Weapon Finesse for free at 1st level, mind you, but that makes sense. All things considered, the Swashbuckler ought to use a d8 instead of a d10. Maybe I have a prejudiced view but the swashbuckler shouldn't be as tough a front-liner as the fighter when it comes to hit dice. It's still balanced in it's current form, however, and compares favorably with the Unfettered (Arcana unearthed) without having a sneak attack feature or magical parrying capablity. Insightful strike, Weakening Critical, and Wounding Critical make up for that nicely."
So it looks like the swashbuckler has everything Fenlan likes, and doesn't lose any combat effectiveness. Just a thought.

Good link, E. I read the first 30 of those strips. Funny stuff. Makes me want to play Jero as a stick man. ;D

I don't mind contributing $5 here and there toward any books the group might need and want to share. Of course, now that we're finally upgrading to 3.5e, they'll probably release 4e this summer or something...

I wonder what the "glow" tag does. Let's see...

I won a 3.5 players handbook on ebay. So takes care of that book. We are still going to need a dm's guide and monster manual.
