That' not a bad idea, well I mean either idea. The undead thing is a little far fetched but hey it' magic! Anyway we have many weeks to figure this out. By the way how would a cleric/wizard fair in an arena? Wouldn't Bob fighter just come up and wack his head off?

Hey, isn't Corran half-elven?
His body could be possessed by an ancient ancestor of his from the Elven Court. This is possible since that's where the party was while fleeing the drow and this is where Corran falls.
Corran would then share his body with that of his ancient elven ancestor, who would be a pretty good fighter, enabling Corran to survive the Arena in Hillsfar.
During the period in which he is in Hillsfar, the ancestor would probably be manifest at all times. Then, as Corran's soul got stronger, he could become the dominant personality. The ancestor could jump in and take control whenever the situation merits (i.e. a combat gone really bad.)
I see this ancestor as your typical haughty elf in the times of Myth Drannor's height. Kinda like Tahl should have been. The great personality difference between the ancestor and Corran would be necessary, IMO, given the advantages.
Maybe the spirit returns out of it's hatred of the drow running thru its former home.
Playing 2 characters in one may be kinda hard to do Kev, so you don't have to try it out if you don't wanna.

Truth be told, I don't remember if he is half elven or not. Even if he isn't we could say he has some elven blood in him ie: 1/4 elf or some such. The drow thing would work too, we could say his ancestor was a worshiper of Severasch, I'm not sure how to spell that. I would be willing to give it a try. I think the different personalities would be cool. Spice things up a bit.

I like this, too, especially if Brett intends to give this campaign a drow-oriented theme. Interestingly, by the time we get back to this campaign, Kevock may have returned and we won't *really* need to worry about it. We can just pick up where we left off. I suppose the drow contingency is just in case we pick this one back up before Kev's return. Right?

Right-o. Guess we'll see how things go.
But now I think the stuff we came up with would help get the campaign going in some cool directions, so maybe we can work out some sort of fast-forward trick like we did in Waterdeep and will prolly be doing in the North.
