Man, these War of the Spider Queen books have me wanting to play a drow campaign. I know, I know, another damn campaign. They're fun to talk about. At least I don't have you guys roll up characters til I'm sure I'm serious.
Anyway, Joe & Tone - wasn't you guys' old drow campaign set in FR? Could we maybe use those characters? Could you tell us anything about them?
There's always Nez Nasadra running around too, Tone.
Anything you'd like to share?
Anyone?

Our characters were named Brezian and Ezrik. They were male warriors that hailed from the Dhaazhir, pronounced Jahzir, household. Brezian was the eldest son and was a large and powerful fighter who wielded a scimitar and handaxe in battle. Ezrik was of a mind similar to Drzzt(spelling?) and fled the underdark to live on the surface. He found peace with a clan of woodelves but his joy was short lived as his mother, Brashia, sent his two brothers after him. He was now being hunted by Yzzirik, 2nd son, and Brezian, the youngest of the males. Yzzirik was the perfect template of a Drow warrior. He was cold, cruel and absolute in his evil. He was a deadly fighter who fought with twin longswords. Yzzirik wanted nothing more than the death of his eldest brother and was happy to get the chance to kill him. He had to tread carefully as he travelled alongside Brezian, who was regarded as the deadliest of the brothers. Brezian was a torrid conflict of moral debates. He loved battle and had small regard for life but had an honor that was completely foriegn to the Drow. Brezian was smaller than his elder brothers but posessed unearthly skill with his twin sabres. Ezrik fought valiantly to protect his new family but in the end he was forced to flee as to many innocent elves lost their lives. Ezrik was finally cornered by his brothers and in that moment he made an impassioned call to his youngest brother. Brezian heeded him and turned on Yzzirik who fled back to the underdark. Ezrik and Brezian traveled together for many months together and all seemed well. Unfortunately for them Brezian and his mother shared a strange bond. She was obsessed with her youngest son and sent Yzzirik back to retreive him. The story will continue.....

I would be willing to play any campaign. I don't know much about the Drow, but I'm in.

I was going to continue the tale but there is way to much. Let's just say that they were really cool and very tough characters.

Sounds cool. Would you prefer Nez or Brezian?
I don't think I'd require everyone to play drow, but that would be the theme and I'd think it would be helpful. I'm always open to new ideas, though.
And I think Joe was interested in the Deep Imaskari, too.

Brezian has always been one of my favorite characters. He is a cold weapon who is only now realizing the complexity of emotions.

So where do we stand in the Drow campaign? Who will DM? Who has character ideals? Is this something we are going to do in the near future?

I'd love to get some solid character ideas and names down. Here is as good a place as any. I think this campaign could have the potential to be another Waterdeep, with multiple layers of intrigue mixed with some cool, Realms-shaking events (though, those are yet to come in the Waterdeep campaign, but we're getting there).

I wouldn't mind recreating the house that Joe and I belonged to. It would afford us great angles as it was a house outside of the structure. Our house was nicknamed the Eyes of Lloth and we served as a "police" force in the city. I still have all of the prevelant members of the household.
