The bautha z'hin style seems to match Wex the best. I may look into modding Wex to match this better. Not sure.
John's character, Nix, would likely employ the luth alur style. The rest of 'em, I dunno.

I thought Brezian might be more orb alur, but I can see what you're saying.

We changed Brezian around. He is more of an armored Knight than a free flowing dual wielding fighter.

I think that Riznafein would have to use a mixture of Z'ress A'thalak, Ust Sreen, and Draa Velve. He uses two weapon fighting style, but his sword is used to deal out heavy amouts of damage. While his hand crossbow is designed to parry and fire into close combat. It is a repeating hand crossbow. So he can does not have to stop fighting to reload.

We changed Brezian around. He is more of an armored Knight than a free flowing dual wielding fighter. Interesting that you've altered Brez to better fit your favorite archetype. That will be interesting, since you were once such a dervish of death so many eons ago. I am slightly concerned about Wex's effectiveness, but we'll just have to see how it goes. All of you pretty much know how I dig a concept for a character in the beginning, but when it comes to "combat effectiveness" I end up bummed out if the character falls shy. I had that problem with Jero in the beginning, but he has turned out okay. Of course, it took a while...

Brett can probably work out something. The crossbow has no magic properties. This should make it easy to outfit your character with one. If Brett thinks its ok. If you are really interested in using it.

Maybe that could be something cool that develops between Riznafein and Wex. Wex might show some interest in it and then Riz could decide whether or not it's worth it for Wx to be using one, too. Especially once the rift happens.

Here's some PDFs I'd like those who can to download and print out to bring with you to the game.
The Menzo Player's Guide. It's for the PC game so you don't need it all just pages 16-17 (social classes), 19-38 (society/city life), 46-48 (nobility and status), and 51-69 (role-playing drow). Pages 51-69 may be more of just a read than a print. Oh yeah, and they have some of the houses in the wrong order when you get down to the minor houses, so we can correct that on the printout.
The Menzo Districts Summary, all of which is useful.
I figure if we have 2 or 3 copies of these docs lying around the table, they may be good for player reference.
Joe's taking care of this. See below.

Now that I've looked at it, I'm copying and pasting the relevant sections into a document and giving it an editorial treatment. BH, if you want to take the link down, I'll provide an edited doc for everyone to print that will read better and be more coherent, as well as leave out references to the Menzo.net servers and stuff.

I printed an edited copy (edited by moi), which I will bring to the session on 03/02, and I also emailed it to BH. If we have a couple of these floating around for everyone to peruse, that should be cool.
