<laughfs at the point you bring up "desires for vengance and pain">
Oh thank you FAIR Moridan, one of the first things they teach us at that order is only when we are pious and in the right will evil doers and criminals call us zealots, liars, idiots, fools, and far far worse. Clearly I should thank you for affirming both my suspicions.
If you would now like to cry about how I am being unfair by forcing my morality and the laws of the land upon you and your oh so different ways feel free, just as long as you understand a "quick death" brought by your blade to a bound and defeated man will not be tolerated regardless of your petty and false accusations.

7 - The companions finally emerged from the Halls of the Sleeping Legion after vanquishing many plaguechanged spiders and Sharrans. Treasures in hand, they decided to accompany Deryn and Uldred to Saradush in eastern Tethyr - a mere two days' ride.
9 - Once again, the companions were beset by bandits. It was a hard-fought battle, but they prevailed and once again managed to take a prisoner. They interrogated the bandit and discovered much about their operations.
10 - The companions made Saradush in the morning, turning over the bandits to the constabulary. They acquired rooms at the Saradush Inn and began spending their coin in their own diverse ways. Galleron bestowed a feast upon a homeless man as his Torm's Table ritual. The companions decided to buy a home in Sarasuch to use as a base of operations and investment.
11 - Galleron left for Barakmordin, a fortress to the west of the city dedicated to Torm. In a conversation, Nylaathria discovered that Kraus and Gierin are her uncles and vice versa.
12 - Galleron arrived at Barakmordin late at night and discovered that a Navarre had appeared in Llorbauth, Erlkazar's old capital. He acquired a squire, Milial, and a quartet of Knights Kuldar to help the companions root out the bandit stronghold they found out about.
13 - Galleron and the Knights Kuldar left Barakmordin for Saradush.
14 - Galleron returned to the city, introductions were made, and plans were formed to go to the bandit keep.
15 - The companions traveled southeast into the hills in search of the bandit keep.
16 - The companions found the bandit keep inhabited by a group of ruffians led by a vampire. After a spectacular battle, the bandits and their master were routed. Gierin tracked the bandit that got away to a cave.
17 - Gierin returned, telling the companions of the cave he found.
18 - The companions followed Gierin to the cave and discovered a nest of vampires, which they destroyed.
19 - The companions left the cave for Saradush.
20 - The companions arrived in Saradush and got their house ready.
21 - The companions spent the day in the city getting everything sorted with their new home.
22 - The companions were called to meet Count Orin Santele at the Palace. Donning their finest attire (for the most part), the companions boarded the carriage sent for them and attended the Count. They also found that Lord Mayor Pyrgam Beyross and none other than Duke Kardeth Llanistaph was there as well. They were congratulated on their deeds and Galleron learned that his brother Theodin is the Navarre in Llorbauth that he had heard much about of late.
23 - The companions set out for Llorbauth.
24 - The companions passed through Survale Ford.
26 - The companions made Riatavin and met with Countess Halanna Roaringhorn and the Chosen Council using a writ they received from Duke Llanistaph. She told them she may have use for them and that she would send for them if so.
Moridan, Deryn, and Nylaathria explored the city, visiting many of its taverns, and got drunk. While they were gone, Kraus was visited by Lady Astrid Tormaril of the Chosen Council. She informed him that a Shadow Thief by the name of Gage might know the location of a den of the vampires that had been plaguing the city. She claimed that he could be found at The Rook, a seedy tavern in town.
Kraus went to The Rook, where Deryn, Moridan, and Nylaathria also happened to be. He met with Gage, a strange-looking fellow, who informed him that there was a den of vampires in an old abandoned counting house near the Lodge of Coins, the temple of Waukeen.
27 - Kraus informed his companions about his meeting and they made plans to attack the den of vampires. The companions infiltrated the old counting house using the sewers and rooted out the den of bloodsuckers. Later, Moridan and Kraus returned to The Rook to try and get more information out of Gage regarding the vampires, to no avail.
28 - The companions left Riatavin, ultimately bound for Llorbauth.
29 - While they were camping, the companions were attacked again by a retinue of vampires, which they defeated.
30 - The companions re-entered the Snowflake Mountains, getting closer to the dwarven city of Tibold.

1 - Early in the morning, Melial (Galleron's squire) heard what sounded like a scream in the distance. After some investigation, Nylaathria discovered another camp that had been destroyed by goblins. After gathering everyone together, the companions ambushed the goblins and routed them. They gathered what they could and gave the dead travelers a proper burial.
Late that night, they made Tibold and turned over the dead travelers' wagons to the local constables. They got rooms at the inn and settled in for the night.
2 - Moridan and Kraus found a dwarven wizard in Tibold and attempted to buy some scrolls from him, but he didn't have what they needed. The companions then left Tibold.
3 - The companions continued on the road, noticing that they were not being accosted and that things seemed much more peaceful on this side of the mountains.
4 - The companions continued to travel in peace.
5 - They finally made Llorbauth and noticed the state of disrepair it was in. The city's population had dwindled, and many buildings stood empty. They took rooms at Ertyk's, an inn named after the infamous goblin king that was slain by heroes of Erlkazar many years ago.
Nylaathria sought out some members of the Order of Blue Fire that could be found everywhere in the city and set up a meeting. Moridan and Kraus once again sought out a local wizard for scrolls. Later, Moridan and Deryn went carousing and sought out information about Theodin Navarre and the Order of Blue Fire.
6 - The companions met some of the members of the Order of Blue Fire at their inn and asked many questions. Later, they met with the Baron and Galleron's brother Theodin at the palace. After the reunion, Theodin arranged for them to stay at the palace.
7 - Galleron managed to find the only other follower of Torm in the area, a crazy old man named Roule. He arranged to have Roule's place cleaned up and taken care of. Moridan and Deryn went to The Black Dragon (a tavern frequented by mercenaries) and Kraus and Nylaathria went to the temple of Waukeen. Both duos were looking for information regarding vampires in the area.
8 - Deryn left this morning, going on a short sojourn and saying he would return in a few days.
A group of citizens began gathering in front of Klarsamryn (the palace), protesting against the Order of Blue Fire.
Kraus, Nylaathria, and Moridan accompany Theodin and some of the Order into the Plaguelands on a scar pilgrimage, seeing many of the wonders and horrors created by the Spellplague.
Galleron spoke to one of the protestors outside of Klarsamryn, noting his concerns. Later, he visited Roule once again then stalked the streets alone in search of vampires.
9 - Galleron met with the Baron and talked about the protestors outside, finding out that the Baron believed that the church of Waukeen was behind the protests.
Later that night, Galleron once again went out on patrol and slew a vampire. As he returned to the palace, he saw that the crowd outside had grown considerably. At the same time, those who had gone on the scar pilgrimage were returning as well.
The crowd soon turned violent and several armed men appeared out of the crowd, wearing the symbol of Waukeen around their necks. A fight broke out, ending in one of the members of the Order of Blue Fire having his robe torn off, revealing him to be some sort of plaguetouched undead.

10 - Galleron continued his friendship with Roule, the crazy old Tormite. Moridan visited the Black Dragon tavern seeking information regarding the vampires of Llorbauth.
11 - Kraus informed his companions about an abandoned storefront inhabited by servants of the vampires of Llorbauth. A plan was formed.
12 - Deryn returned to Llorbauth. Kraus gifted him the Orb of Light, a powerful artifact and holy symbol created to destroy the undead. Nylaathria and Moridan spied on the storefront Kraus told them about, noting the comings and goings of its inhabitants.
13 - The companions attacked the old storefront's inhabitants, finding them to be mostly moon elves. The battle ended in the defeat of the elves and their home burned almost to the ground. The Llorbauth watch took the two elves the companions had taken prisoner into custody and questioned Galleron and Kraus.
The majority of this day was spent trying to discern what the strange blue and white tree symbols were that the elves wore, to no avail. Moridan watched the gates of the palace and saw that the elves were released and sent on their way, eventually leaving the city.
14 - The companions patrolled the streets this night, searching for vampires. They were eventually beset by a group of demons, apparently controlled by the vampires, who demanded "the Orb." The demons were routed and sent fleeing into the night.
15 - Deryn communed with the Orb of Light to determine more about its origins and purpose and also visited the library in the palace with Kraus to find out more. Galleron once again visited Roule and his neighbors.
That night, the vampire lord Ashram visited the companions in the palace, making them an offer. Galleron almost immediately attacked, only to have Lord Ashram disappear - leaving a mezzodemon in his place. After a difficult battle, the companions destroyed the demon.
16 - Baron Callidan confronted the companions in the morning about the attack the night before, telling them that the other barons of the realm were visiting on the morrow.
That night, an attempt was made on Theodin's life by an assassin wearing the symbol of Waukeen, goddess of trade. The companions managed to vanquish the assassin, but he managed to kill Loremaster Accordant Shasya and an acolyte named Gris.
17 - The barons of Erlkazar began arriving at Klarsamryn (the palace) to discuss Theodin and the possible new Barony.
Kraus and Moridan examined the assassin's body and Kraus casted a spell to discern the assassin's origins. Nylaathria investigated the temple of Waukeen and found that the priests within where forthcoming about their involvement with the assassination attempt. On the way back to the palace, she found a wanted poster regarding an investigation of the ruins of the Obsidian Ridge.
On patrol that night, the companions found and slew a vampire using a new spell Deryn had learned. Later, they encountered a group of drow chasing someone on the rooftops of the city. After a short battle with the companions, the drow continued their chase. The companions lost sight of the drow, but found a dead elf in an alley, apparently dead from a fall from the roof. Nylaathria realized she recognized the dead elf as a friend from home, Una. The companions returned to the palace with Una's body.

18 - Nylaathria sent word to Tethyr about the discovery of Una's body, while Galleron sent a letter to Elturgard about his brother's whereabouts. Kraus and Moridan went to The Black Dragon tavern and met with Ferrin about the mission to the ruins of the Obsidian Ridge.
The Barons of Erlkazar decided against Theodin and the Order of Blue Flame, causing Theodin to give a rousing speech before the palace, promising that he and the Order would return. The companions were formally ejected from the palace and returned to their rooms at Ertyk's.
19 - The companions left for the ruins of the Obsidian Ridge, traveling once more into the plaguelands. Once inside, they discovered that the ruins were home to abishai devils, which proved to be troublesome foes.
20 - After a rest, the companions continued exploring the Obsidian Ridge, finding a large chunk of ruby that Ferrin had sent them for and battling more abishai.
21 - The companions continued to explore the Obsidian Ridge, fighting some undead and more devils.
22 - The companions finished cleaning out the Ridge. Back in Llorbauth, Galleron overheard that the Overgold, High Priest of Waukeen, was murdered in his sleep some three nights past by a shapeshifter.
23 - Ferrin, the man who hired the companions to explore the Obsidian Ridge, found them at Ertyk's. The companions refused to give him the ruby and he told them, "It is not wise to cross the Netherese."
The companions promptly made preparations to flee the city, but were interrupted by the appearance of Xxiphu, floating city of the aboleths, and monstrous horrors prowling the mist-covered streets.
The companions battled their way through some of the strange aberrations spawned from Xxiphu. Upon returning to Ertyk's, Galleron found that Melial had apparently been kidnapped by Ferrin, who left a note simply saying "The choice is yours."
They headed out into the mist once again, seeking to help the innocent denizens of Llorbauth. They helped a sun elf named Florian, who claimed to be a Keeper of the Cerulean Sign and bore a symbol identical to those worn by the elves the companions had encountered in the abandoned storefront.
Florian left, but not before essentially revealing Kraus to be in league with the forces of Xxiphu.
The companions were eventually able to secure some weaponry and were preparing to escort Galleron's friends from the poorer section of town to Klarsamryn (the palace) when they were attacked by an aboleth. In the middle of the battle, Kraus turned to the aboleth and bade it to take him to Xxiphu, which it promptly did by taking him up and taking flight to the gigantic obelisk over the city. After the battle, the companions escorted the citizens to the palace.
24 - The companions set out, searching for the Netherese and their captive Melial. Eventually, they found a note at Ertyk's from Ferrin, requesting that they meet at The Plaza of the Fountain to make the trade. Instead of trading, they fought the Netherese, but when they struck Ferrin down, it triggered a contingency spell and slew Melial as well. The companions then prepared to go to Barakmordin to return Melial's remains.
